Carol Nendza

for OCTOBER 2003

This month's band member of the month comes from our woodwind section, specifically our double reed section, and even more specifically our oboe section. Her name is Carol and usually you will hear her play her instrument before the rest of us because we usually use her as our tuning note pitch. From what little I know, I believe that the oboe is the hardest instrument to tune, so therefore the band tunes to it. (Don't quote me on this though)

Carol has been in the band for a while now and her two sons have also played in our band in the past. Carol is a nice person with a friendly laugh. Let's get to know her a little better…here is your September Band Member of the Month, Carol.

Respectively yours,
Linda Riha

BMOTM Editor

P.S. If anyone has feedback to offer, please do so by emailing me at penglin1927@aol.com. Thanks!
