Lisa Hummitsch

for DECEMBER 2000

Greetings!!

As our turkey is settling and the festivities of another Thanksgiving have past, the band looks forward to it's annual Holiday Concert on December 3rd.

After the concert, we usually take about a month off to allow the Christmas season to enter into it's full swing.

Our December Band Member of the Month is a woman who hails from our flute section. She seems to always be smiling and enjoys getting together to have fun, whether that is playing board games at someone's house or sitting at our favorite "watering hole" after rehearsal. Ms. December is Lisa Hummitsch! Woo hoo!!!

Humbly mitted,

Linda Riha
BMOTM Editor

Are you involved in any other musical groups, either inside or outside the Arts Alive system? If so, which ones?
Nope, but I like to think of myself as a Midnight "groupie"

< Speaking of groups, our December BMOTM "hangs" with Arts Alive! band members at Armstrong Barracks, Büdingen, Germany.

Lisa shows off her gun collection at Schloss Büdingen. >

What do you like most about this group?
The great friends I've made, the diversity of music we play, Monday nights at Teehan's, and the opportunity to continue my passion for music

Describe your best/favorite band moment. Germany 94!

What are your hobbies?
Besides band, I am an Internet addict, I am a volunteer staff member of Totally Live Trivia in an AOL chatroom, I do plastic canvas cross-stitch, and love to read and bike as well

A rare sight, our December BMOTM has managed to get her husband
away from Salina's long enough to attend this formal dinner.

What is your favorite Jell-O flavor?
Blue (OK, technically that's a color, not a flavor, but it's my fave)

Is there anything else you want your band friends to know about you?
Nah, I want to add to my "mystique" :^)~
